DENVER — The Denver Nuggets are building an impressive record against the NBA’s elite teams. J.R. Smith scored 16 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter as the Nuggets recovered from blowing an early 20-point lead to beat the Boston Celtics, 114-105, on Sunday afternoon.

The Boston Celtics are making a statement on a Western Conference road trip. They made a big one in their last game at the Pepsi Center - even without Kevin Garnett. Garnett is back for this visit for the Celtics as they try to sweep their four-game trip Sunday against the Denver Nuggets.

The Celtics acquired Nate Robinson in a five-player trade with the Knicks that sends Eddie House to New York.

A deal that would send Robinson to the Boston Celtics was close to being finalized last night. The Knicks will receive two yet-to-be determined players in return, both of whom will have expiring contracts.

The Knicks have been looking to relocate Nate Robinson since December and they may have found a taker in the Boston Celtics.
